As a beginner there are so many opportunities to make money online whether you are looking to start a site also create a passive income stream or build a passive income stream or build a full time career but it can be very overwhelming to know where to start especially if you are new to the online especially if you are new to the online space that's why I have put together this comprehensive guide to help you get started on your online money making Journey. The first step to making money online is to choose your Niche. A niche is a specific area of focus within a larger industry for example if you are interested in Fitness you could choose a niche within that like 30 lifting yoga positioning the most specific your Niche the easier it will be to Target your audience and stand out from the competition to choose your Niche or niche as some people pronounce it start by brainstorming your interests skills and expertise.
W what are you passionate about? what are you good at? what do you enjoy doing in your free time? what problems can you solve for others once you have a list of potential initiates research each one to see if there's a demand for it and if it's profitable you can use tools like YouTube search Google Trends Amazon and social media to see what people are searching for and buying. If you go to YouTube search, there's some topics which have lots of views or mini videos same as Google Trends you just see lots of people searching for something you say look for products on something you say look for products on Amazon and you'll see most people are purchasing a certain type of product.
Depending on your search that will be able to inform your Niche once you've chosen your Niche the next step is to includes your website social media accounts and any other platforms you plan to use promote your brand and make plan to use promote your brand and make money online. Your website should be the Hub of your online presence it's where people can learn more about you your Niche and what you have to offer. There are many platforms you can use to build your website such as WordPress Squarespace and Bricks you will need to purchase a domain name and web hosting which can cost anywhere from a few dollars to several hundred dollars per year I pay around 179 dollars per year for hosting which is around 15 per month in my opinion.

Social media is another important aspect of your online presence you will want to choose the platforms that are most relevant to your Niche and know your target audience is most active. For example if you are targeting Ayana audience you may want to focus on Instagram and Twitter if you're targeting professionals LinkedIn may be a better fit now if you're looking for Global audience then YouTube should be a great place to start. Obviously you can choose more than one platform you can sign up on all platforms just make sure you don't chew more than you can swallow. Now to build your audience you will need to create content that is relevant and valuable to your target audience this can include blog posts videos podcasts social media posts and more my advice start with videos or podcasts.
Well you can even start with blog posts honestly pick your poison but when you're picking the format of your content look into two different things: one what is trending right now or what is it that most people are consuming to what are you comfortable creating are you comfortable writing are you comfortable creating podcasts or videos or just simple social media posts that will be able to guide you when you're choosing your content, format now you also need to engage with your Audience by responding to comments answering questions and participating in online communities related to your Niche. So there are many ways to attract and grow your audience such as guest posting on other websites in your Niche, collaborating with other creators or influencers in your Niche running social media ads to Target your audience boosting giveaways or contest to encourage people to follow you .

If you sell your product directly to the customer if you have a large audience you can also make money by selling advertising space on your website or social media accounts.
